&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Functionakty wise tags are different to labels in that they are a generally free form user taxonomy. They require therefor a bit more discipline when applied in order to prevent them becoming an unmanageable list of very individual categories. If applied correctly they can be helpful as a horizontal navigation layer linking conversations across boards and categories. We are currently looking to use them in a limited capability to capture the system and version info.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I guess the message tag function is something that is being testing out as well? What is it? Whats its relation to labels? And why is just introduced in a production environment without explanation - making an already messy situation even worse?&lt;/P&gt;
