Access values by their indexes

Hello,

Let's say that on the parameter tab I have this:

VALUES "list" "door", "windows", "floors"

which shows like this:

Now, what I would like to know if there is a way to access to those values by their index, and not by writting the value's names, eg:

if list = index_value_here then do something endif

Hope it makes sense.
