      <description>Sorry, that example is not relevant to the title, something has mixed up.&lt;BR /&gt;
If the element ID (of anything, not just GDL objects) contain a number before placement, it will be auto-incremented after placement in the info box.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
You just need to show that ID from GDL:&lt;BR /&gt;
text2 0,0, GLOB_ID</description>

Sorry, I don't know why the example is not relevant to the title... maybe I'm missing something? The link is about an object that displays a number that increases with each placement. That is exactly what I want to do, but following the instructions I didn't get that result...&lt;BR /&gt;
Anyway, thanks to your suggestion I was able to display the number, but after 9, it goes to 0 and then starts over again... Why is this happening?&lt;BR /&gt;

That article is titled as increasing a displayed text number, but it is actually about increasing a Hotspot ID number.&lt;BR /&gt;
Nothing to do with text.&lt;BR /&gt;
Peter explained the procedure as you have used.&lt;BR /&gt;

Make the first  ID number 01 or 001 instead of just 1.&lt;BR /&gt;
The more zeros (numerals) you have, the further you will get before it resets.&lt;BR /&gt;
