Object placing box

Could it be possible to make "box" showing area where object will be placed, for example like slab, beam, roof or any other object who have "box" showing area where object will be placed?

More precisely.
I want to place object and similar to drag(drag for marking area, not actual object draging), then make mark area from this object with moving hotspot which would show "Box", showing area of placement.

Is there any structure to assist my needs ? Also how could i make this "moving" hotspot with API or it would be possible only with GDL ?

Do you mean you want to create a rubber-banded preview of an object while the user is defining the position? If so, take a look at the documentation for ACAPI_Interface, particularly the section headed up User input, e.g. APIIo_GetPolyID.
