Using a website reference uses a lot more token, and reach the limit of our subscription a lot sooner. I sometimes reach my daily limitation in minutes when using Claude on gdl on some object. I began to use Claude on C++ and I never reached the limit of my subscription because the code is well reference in the dev kits. If we have local data on gdl, we'll be able to have better code for less token.

Hi everybody! I was asking myself if there is data that we can use to feed AI to help us coding?

If not, can we "scrape" the gdl center website data for AI purpose? What is the official position of Graphisoft on this?

Have had some very positive experiences with Claude Code (Opus 4.8) to be able to write good quality GDL. Just point it at the GDL reference site to make sure it follows those syntax, but it’s pretty good anyway.

I have been considering how to create a Claude /skill for GDL based on the GDL reference docs. Haven’t had a chance to look into it yet though.

I’m our office we’re also having good success giving it the GDL code add for a template object including a standard UI we wanted to use and geometry conventions etc.
