The Reference Guide for REQUEST{4}("Profile_component_info", ...) lists the per-edge linetype key as "gs_profile_comp_linetype" (singular), alongside "gs_profile_comp_pens" and "gs_profile_comp_surfaces" (both plural).

In practice, the singular form compiles fine but the REQUEST silently fails — it returns r = 0 and an empty (0-length) array — even when the profile's components have custom per-edge line types explicitly set in the Profile Manager.

There's no error, no warning, just an empty array that looks identical to "no override set."

The correct key is the plural form: "gs_profile_comp_linetypes". Using that instead returns a properly populated array (one entry per geometry point, matching nPts, same convention as gs_profile_comp_pens), with the actual per-edge linetype indexes.

Might be worth a doc fix .
