Good question!
The answer is one of the things I don't like using the marker for doors and windows ...

I did discover that if I selected each of them one at a time in turn and then with the whole set selected changed the settings it worked without making all the windows the same (as the first selected).

Another random discovery: door panel thickness dimension settings are not set in the door opening dimension button, but in the general dimension set up.

Another problem: I often have doors that wont show up in the schedule or the door types elevations. Any thoughts?

Make the Window tool active.
Select all (Command A on Mac)
Open the Window Selection Settings
Change the Dimension Marker/Marker Settings.

Windows should keep their original parameters (type/size)... but now have
the same dimension marker.

Marc. They don't behave as we would instinctively believe. Changing the label type changes the size of the window/door.

BUG! DEFECT! much aggravation because of this this week. 40 townhouses to get out the door and I'm not having fun changing the labels.

Turning Door knobs on has the same effect, so it's not just the label.

This needs to get fixed. STAT!

Did a quick test in AC18... and it seemed to work fine

Tom's signature could tell the tale. If he had one that listed equipment. !

not sure Marc. this has happened to me a few times on this project. The first time I was't paying enough attention. And then I couldn't reproduce it. And then I could.

Now I'm having to create custom find and select searches for each type of door/window and each unit size.
