topic saved view name in Libraries & objects

<T>Hello.

Is it possible in a GDL object to get the name of the saved view in the view map?

I would like to change the appearance of the object in 2D according that name.</T>

Hi.

Not sure, but I don't think so. You would be driving object appearance based on the already saved view. I think it works the other way around: using model view options, giving the object the desired look and then saving the view.

There's a simple tutorial (so you understand the basics) of Library Globals over at onLand.

Unless you are talking about using it in a title object, then that's possible.

Best regards.
