topic Repetitive Object / Invalid pgon2 in Libraries & objects

<T>Hi,
I need to model a housing development for an aerial visual. We have several different house types that are repeated over the site. We've taken the approach modelling each house type in a separate file, then saving them out as 3D objects to be placed into the site file. (We can't effectively hotlink them instead, as each house type has different storey heights).

Unfortunately each house object generates an 'Invalid pgon2 (-1) on edge X' error when viewed in 3D. When the whole development is viewed, it throws up so many errors that the file is unusable. Is there a logical answer? I can't edit the code in the objects, as each time we change a house type, I'd have to redo it.

Any idea why the error is being generated, when the model looks fine in 3D before I turn it into an object?

Any help appreciated...</T>

Imported objects can cause errors. One alternative is to turn the model into morph and then save it as an object. Also You could put all elements on a single story in 3d and save it as a module. Then You don't have to worry about storyheights when placing modules in the project.
