<T>Does anyone know of an availible library item that will do a multi panel sliding door that opens from the center with fixed panels on the ends.

EG

Fixed <slide <slide | slide> slide> Fixed

i use to use the item DMS_DX2_Sliding from the DMS_Door_GDLs library that was in the depository. but now on AC17 we get continual errors and issues with it in the models. so basically something current to replace this door for AC17.</T>

I was looking for this and couldn't find it. I ended up adapting the dutch library object, which is of no use to you antipodes, but at least you know I couldn't find one either.

If you're not too adept at GDL scripting, you could just make an one off object with slabs and save it as a custom door object. A search at the Help Center link at the top should get you some posts, tutorials, wiki etc stuff to explain how that works.
