<T>Hello, I have some 3Ds from Archibase, but they have no fills in 2D. That means I can’t use fills on Objects from Archicad than they wouldn't be uniformed. It is possible to add fill to the Archibase objects? Am I importing it wrong?
Thank you for any comments
Here is one thread about editing the 2D Symbol of Archibase.net objects:
Thank you David, but I was hoping for some easy way to have background pen in 2D view of 3D objects. Your suggestion is great for editing 3D objects but very time consuming and inflexible.
Hello Eva,
try this, open object, 2d script, comment all and use project2 3, 270, 2
[this require Archicad to do all the work and you can't leave it so]
Open 2d view, copy all and paste it in a worksheet (best near origin)
[this translate the projection in base elements]
Eventually add a fill as background.
Select all from worksheet and drag it in 2d script.
[this create code for the primitives in the worksheet]
Insert two 2 pens, for lines and for background fill.
Comment project2.
If everything works fine delete commented lines and add hotspots.

Hello Andro55,
and than fill the 2D in the worksheet??? This is extremely time consuming. It is all furniture most of it round with pillows etc.
I found better solution:convert it to morph, you can also clean the lines by checking on soft edge, than check cover fills and add a fill. Save as a object. One two three its done.
Thank you anyway
