This is my problem: i want to get the parameters of a wall using global variables like a door or a window do.&lt;BR /&gt;
Can i do it without using window or door subtype?&lt;/T&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

      <description>The object needs to be a part of (or associated with) the wall in order to get its properties.&lt;BR /&gt;
So that is why doors or windows are needed.&lt;BR /&gt;
You may have luck with a lable object as well but it has to be used with the lable tool - not the regular object tool.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
As far as I know no regular object can get wall properties.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;

Yes, i was afraid about that, only walls, windows, and labels can get properties.</description>
