<R>I am trying to make an object (POLY2_B seems like a suitable command).
It is to be a 2d shape, straight lines, always enclosed, but with an ability to add nodes without going into parameters.

I have seen it done on an object ... code locked where there is a node in the middle of each straight line, if you click it and drag it at creates an additional node/line.

I want to be able to get the area of the closed poly but i imagine that wouldn't be a problem.

Is there a simple/obvious way to do it or do I need to think outside the box here? Any advice?

Thanks vuego, it's exactly what I was trying to achieve.
I'll study the code to understand how it's done.

Thanks for your help.
