I'm not sure I follow, are you referring to the "custom panel", in the Sash Style settings of the Window settings?

If your are referring to a custom panel, make sure you have saved your window panel (sash) to a loaded library. Check your library manager for the active libraries.

<T>When I open the window selection settings, the custom settings window goes blank and I cannot make any adjustments. This occurs fairly often. This only seems to happen on the window selections and not the door selections.
Using Archicad 17 on a Mac Platform</T>

If you mean the Custom Settings Panel on the right side of the Window Settings Dialog: it is not always available, only with Windows the script of which contains command that define that interface. Mostly Windows in the default GS library are like that, but other Windows may not have a Custom Settings Panel.
