Perhaps you have found some of my work on the internet ?

Would you like to have the ArchiCAD model for this ?

You can download all of these parts from the manufacture. The pipe railing is a snap with the Morph tool.

<T>Please refer the attachment, it shows the Stairs with Railing.

In ArchiCAD 16, is it possible to customize the railing as shown in attachment. If so kindly guide me to parametrically control it.</T>

I have schedules for every fitting, nut, bolt, washer, set screw, concrete anchor, pipe bend, tube, etc... totally scheduled system to go with the models too, that include the manufactures part numbers as well.

If someone is doing a lot of pipe railing systems like this and they need it modeled in ArchiCAD, they may be interested in the ArchiCAD parts and schedules I have made for this. I can provide the manufactures web sites who have the fittings in several CAD file formats. The only trick to it is modeling some of the railing, which is fun to do with the morph tool.

Good luck with the polycount

I do know of a Pipe railing company in Australia with a website where the sample pipe railing system "AR45" can be downloaded in Revit and AutoCAD. I made this into an ArchiCAD model for them.
If you ask them, they <S></S>may<E></E> send you this model in ArchiCAD with all the parts and interactive schedules. What they really would like to offer their clients is pipe railing tool that will generate the pipe railing models rather than a bunch of parts as I made for the sake of interactive schedules.

My guess is that our friend form India was looking for some help on how to make such a tool for them. ? I can't do it. Too complicated for me.

After you mentioned it earlier I looked into responding to their RFP and it was closed to further applications. So I wonder if our friend has a contract with them.

Saravanpp, is this the case or am I jumping to conclusions?
