<T>looking for an object, pline, whatever you can muster that can function in the folllowing manner:
1. should have the ability to have an "arrow head" on one end.
2. should have the ability to have a "circle" on the other end.
3. can add custom text to either end.

we need this object for the stair path of travel.
we can seem to get the stairs to show the correct "UP" or "DWN" on the specific floors we need them to so we are having to shut down the text on the stair objects and just put a simple path of travel (arrow on one end and circle on the other).....
(see graphics attached).</T>

was actually anylizing this object quit a bit.....by the way...SUPERB JOB AND IT'S FANTASTIC.....

one thing which would be nice also would be to be able to move the "starting node" as a 'stretchy' feature. like you can move all the other nodes. Right now, I have to grab the object and physically MOVE the entire thing to the spot where I want it to start instead of being able to "flex around" all the nodes whereever I need them.

Don't mistake my comment.....like I said....I LOVE THIS OBJECT....you've done an awesome job with the programming.

The original object is from me, you can find it on ArchiRADAR. I wrote it many years ago, and didn't noticed you was using that.
I know Andro is a good GDLer, and I'm happy if he has made it useful for you.
As for the first node not being "free" to move, without dragging the entire object, well, that is possible, but I choosen not to allow it. Maybe is only an idiosyncrasy from me, but I hate if an object can go anywhere, letting it's origin in a lost place, not detectable

your last point is well taken sir!.
and since you are the originator of the code...well, then I would gladly welcome it in any "revised" form you chose to allow the Archicad community to use it in.....it's a fantastic little object....really.....great work there....both of you.
