<R>Hi everyone.
Again i've been tasked with more gdl wishes. Today the issue I'm looking at is requesting a wall's finish material. I've used the REQUEST command before and to great effect, however I'm not sure what the correct GDL name to use in this case.

I found this page, which has a huge list of things. WALL_MAT_A and the associated _EDGE and _B request the wall finishes. However these only bring back the attribute number of the material and not the name, while the WALL_COMPS_NAME brings back the name.

Do I need to do something like wf = REQUEST ("WALL_MAT_A","",name) ?
Or is there a WALL_NAME_MAT_A or something?

Thanks for your help.</R>

Hello y'all.

I'm in a similar situation. I'd like a zone to request the materials of it's bounding walls. I've interpreted the "WALL_MAT_A"-request LGreen mentions to apply to windows only.

The "NAME_OF_MATERIAL" obviously doesn't help my case...

Thanks a bunch n keep on rockin'!
