Cadimage's Detail Elements is an add-on tool which has all sorts of 2D objects for detailing. The objects have a specific sub-type which can only be used with the DE Tool, not the standard Object tool. We got it included with Archicad (which we purchase thru' Cadimage), but I'm not sure if that's only because we are Select subscribers.

Check it out on Cadimage's website

<T>Hi all,

I'm just wondering where I can get a good selection of screws and nails for 2d details, I've had bit of a look on the ArchiCAD website and google but can't find anything.

Thanks
Hi s2art,

Thanks very much for that, Ive downloaded the trial version and its great, Ive been a student for 3 years now and no one has told me about this!) One more quick question tho, when doing window details do you just use a jpeg of the window frame profile or is there a library etc for these also?

Thanks heaps
For windows I usually use manufacturer's profiles converted from DWG files (to polylines, fills etc). But this has given me the idea I should save them as objects.
