A known bug - one which makes the windows/doors in the 15 library worthless for me. This bug existed in an earlier version, was fixed in 14, and has been broken since 15 arrived. I finally got up the energy to report it a few weeks ago, and was told that it is now on the list for being fixed.

The problem happens only if you use the wall insertion methods of studwall with siding or brick veneer - in which case the exterior skin(s) are to be cut back to accommodate the exterior trim. As you've seen, the exterior trim instead grows INTO the window opening in this case.

The only option with the present 15 library (pending a hotfix) is to use the solid wall insertion method. This will result in your exterior trim floating on top of your siding or brick, though.

Sorry,
I've come across this too, and sometimes I've found that if you change the reveal depth (usually set at 3/4") to anything (I do 0") then set it back, it somehow resets/fixes the trim.

Let me know if this works.

Woo hoo! Thanks, Steven... 2D/3D corrects itself with your trick of setting the reveal to 0. I didn't even need to reset it to the prior value - after the display updated with the proper casing display, the reveal field returned to the prior value.

Thanks,
