topic MODELLING 3d special objects for beginners. in Libraries & objects

<T>Is there a easy guide some where, to start building simple beginner objects.
Like if i said, I want to model a childrens toy, lieing on the top of a table.
I have the table but I would love to know how to make a simple toy object.

Is this only possible with CODING ? or is there a 3d soft modeling option ?

Thanks guys.
Look for GDL Cookbook it is little "old" but still valid for starting with GDL.
It is free for some time AFIR in PDF version.

the "coding" is needed - but fortunately this "coding" makes the power of the objects.

Best Regards,
Yes, see in the Help files: Virtual Building > Parametric Objects > Graphic Creation of Custom Objects > Saving 3D Models as Objects, but this will not have the parametric of coding in GDL.
If you are already somehow familiar with the basic tools, including profiled walls, and the Object Library (the elements and objects already available which you can use as building blocks for your toy) check out then http://www.graphisoft.com/education/training_guides/, 'Building Objects Creation'.
