i need to hide the door frame

Hi guys, I've modeled an iron gate and used as custom door leaf. I applied and everything is fine, but I cant hide the door frame... Is there any way to do that?!

The easiest solution is to not save your assembly as a custom door leaf (component) ... but as a custom door, since it seems that there is no aspect of the door object that you want to use?

View just your iron gate in 3D, then from Library menu, Save 3D As and save it as a door.

Since the hole that you need cut into your wall is rectangular, that should be all you need.
