<T>A colleague of mine is having a problem with a file (AC11 project). Empty Door openings have all broken and the following message appears when trying to edit them:
"Numeric type extension required at line 370 in the 2D script of the file Empty Door.gsm"

All Empty Doors show as a missing library part (dot). Can't place a new Empty Door either. Empty windows still work fine.

Any advice appreciated.</T>

Is it possible that the file is coming from a different language version like INT or USA?

No, it's a file she has been working on for some time, and this has just happened "out of the blue". Hard to pin down what might have caused it.

I would try to find out if it is file-specific or machine-specific.
I would try to open it on another machine. Also I would try to copy-paste the Walls with Empty Doors in them into a New&Reset file.
I would also check all the parameters and settings of those Doors to see if any parameter seems odd.
I would also check if it may be a corrupt ArchiCAD installation because the Empty Door object comes from the ArchiCAD.dll file.
Also, sometimes Macs have these permission issues. I would also check that.
Also, cleaning preferences may be tried.
