<T>Hi, I'm having a problem with the door & window dimension marker in 14 (seems to throw back as far as 12 too):

Where my window occurs in a wall that runs vertically in my viewpoint, though i can rotate the text of the marker so that it reads horizontally, there seems to be no way to rotate the marker shape itself (fragment shape) - the rectangle shape is rotatable, however it's not a rectangle, it's actually a square... am i missing something? (see image attached)</T>

i got around it by using the label tool and selecting 'label element' in the door/window selection settings. Since i wasn't using any of the other features of the dimension marker i could bypass it. I set up the door/window tool in the label selection settings to be an 'object label' with 'show object ID' and then once that was set simply check in the door/window settings to label element and the label appears on the floor plan (or elevation). the label tool behaves better than the dimension marker tool. hope that helps you too
