<T>I created a frame with 2 columns on the side and 2 beams on the top and bottom. Saved it as an object.
my problem is that when i try to stretch it vertically, the beam on the top and bottom is getting stretched to. I want it to keep its hight. I only want the sides to stretch.
I hope anyone understands my problem. Please help....</T>

Hi Omar, welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately, it isn't that simple to create a stretchable GDL object. You would have to know a little about GDL editing to add the correct parameters in the right places into the code.

Could you resave the object into 3 separate parts? Or maybe make the sides using a complex profiled column, which you could stretch?

Perhaps post up a picture and we could suggest a different/better way of achieving what you are looking for.

Thank you for the reply.
This is the object i am trying to make stretchable.
For the sides i used complexed columns and for the top i used comlexed beams.
I am not sure what you meen when you suggest that i resave the object into 3 separate parts?

Please help...
