Never mind... I tested that and didn't work.
Instead, go to MVO and set the Door 2d view mode.
That will probably do the trick.

<R>Hi,

I would like my door to display with the panel in the closed position but with the opening curve still visible. I've attached a screenshot of what I would like to achieve and what I currently have.

What I would like to achieve:

What I currently have:

I can manage to get the panel in the closed position by putting the opening angle in 2D to 0 degrees but then I no longer see the opening line, which is crucial...

Does anybody know how to solve this?

Best regards,
Vincent</R>

Try using "Projected" as the 2d representation, leave the 2d opening angle to 90 degrees, and setting the 3d opening angle to zero.
Hope that helps.
