Does anyone know where to find an object like this? Same goes for a Carbon Monoxide detector and smoke detector.

Do you have an image of what you are after? It is hard to answer without one as what works for one person doesn't for another.

Linz, helps to know what version you have, but this is from 14 library.

Thanks for pointing that out. It's surprisingly easy to miss these things sometimes. On another note, I think there ought to be a residential exhaust fan object, with the yin/yang symbol for use in construction drawings. With any luck, I've simply overlooked this object as well!

You still don't say which version of AC you are using. In version 12 there is this 2D fan symbol.
