<R>Welcome everybody

It's my first post here. Hope not the last one.

I'm working on my own GSM object, which I make by saving model from ArchiCAD and add some GDL scripting.

I've found that hotspots, which I drew in 2D symbol appear in 3D model. Is it possible to turn them off? They're really messing up the symbol as I use own 3D hotspots.

Thanks in advance for reply </R>

In your parameter script see if you can find "Show 2D hotspots in 3D" and turn it off. It is usually a hidden parameter.

Agree, I turned it off before asking question here - it didn't work.

Today I've found something funny: ArchiCAD v13 x32 (today updated) displays those 2D hotspots in 3D while ArchiCAD v14 64bit doesn't. That's weird...

Any other ideas?

Jezyy, does this happen for all objects or only for this particular one?
Nope, it doesn't work.

So, what do you mean archibaldo by check registry or special menu?

My system is fresh and everything is installed recently with default settings.

Jezyy:

This is what worked for me in AC 13:
1. As vistasp said, turn off the Showing 2D Hotspots in 3D parameter.
2. Add Hotspots to the 3D Script (if there are no Hotspots in the 3D Script, then the 2D will be used)
3. Under Details..., Hotspots on bounding box should not be checked (I think this is a difference between 13 & 14, does not seem to matter in 14)
In case you haven't done so already...

You might want to try placing a new instance of the object to see if that helps. Changing the default setting of the Showing 2D Hotspots in 3D parameter in the parameter table will not affect instances of the the object already placed.

Alternately, unhide this parameter so you can change it in previously placed instances.

Thank you vistasp, archibaldo, David Maudlin and Erich.

I did as Erich said - unhide "Show 2D Hotspots in 3D" parameter. It turned out that in the object placed on the plan kept this parameter as ON despite of beeing OFF in the script. So now the object displays 3D hotspots I've placed in 3D script (both movable and static).

Best wishes
