AC12 parts should work just fine in 13. Just use the old ones. You don't say where they are from. If they are in the AC12 standard library you can use the migration library to avoid conflicts from duplicate parts in the full 13 library or extract the ones you to put in a project or office library, or embed them in the project(s) that need them.

if you are referring to the MEP add-on there may be some other wrinkles in the process.

ofiretgar:

If you used the MEP add-on for ArchiCAD 12, the MEP library (MEP Library 12) is in the ArchiCAD 12 folder in your Applications folder, use the Library Manager to add it to your project.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.
I think you can get the libraries from the GS website. What happened to the copies you were using before? You should make sure to keep all the previous libraries that you have used.

You can download the MEP add-on from here: Downloads for MEP Modeler 13, it should contain the MEP library.
