<T>Hi fellow gdllers

I need some input on how to make a 3D hotspot to use as snap points in 3D and in S/E windows.
Archi Terra has an hideous example of something like it.
I would like to have a very simple shape like a cylind or circle, but with only ONE snap point -or hotspot. Any ideas??

Best regards

You just want to add the hotspot to an object? Then try:

CYLIND h, r
HOTSPOT 0, 0, 0
HOTSPOT 0, 0, h

Where h is the cylinder height and r the radius. This code will place a single hotspot at the top and bottom of the cylinder.
Hi Erich
Thanks for your quick reply

This was my first idea as well. With a zero hight cylind I get a nice planar shape with ony one hotspot.
But this is for use in my "Totalstation to Archicad tool" mentioned some posts ago, and the use will most likely be in the S/E window, and here I am not able to ommit the hotspots on bounding box and I only require One and only one representation of the mesured point.

Best regards
