<R>Hello,

I would love to use Vitra furniture in my project for school... also Fritz Hansen ones.

Are they available for ArchiCAD or in any format that can be converted to ArchiCAD?

I have searched in forum and internet and I only arrive to pages that don't work anymore, or need a login.

Thank you!! <E>🙂</E></R>

lots here

<LINK_TEXT text="http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/ ... rch&reps=1">http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/search?q=Fritz+Hansen&styp=m&btnG=Search&reps=1</LINK_TEXT>

save as a new file when using them because the objects when you import will probably have lots of ploygons and slow your comp up.
or place on different layer.
or
or
good luck

Thank you for your answer.

Correct me if I am wrong, but to import a Sketchup model into ArchiCAD, this plugin is needed:

<LINK_TEXT text="http://www.graphisoft.com/products/arch ... gle_earth/">http://www.graphisoft.com/products/archicad/addons/google_earth/</LINK_TEXT>

For the moment, only 32bit version is available <E>😞</E>

Any other source where to find these kind of models? Seems that my teacher loves them and would be great to use in my project

My preference is to export as 3DS from SketchUp and use the add-on to convert these to library parts. I find it produces much superior results for minimally parametric elements (like furniture) but does require using SketchUp Pro.

OBJ (wavefront) is "similar" to 3DS, so your best to just import the 3DS models, watch out though as the poly count will be high!
