<T>There are a lot of web sites with archicad libraries, but no manual of "how to" update or import these libraries in archicad. I copy full folder with models into archicad Library folder and no it is no use. Sorry for such a newbie question but i haven't found smth about it directly.</T>

If you already have Archicad running when you copy the new library parts to your library folder then you will need to "Re-load" the library in the Library Manager.

Otherwise re-starting Archicad and ensuring the correct library folder is loaded should do the trick.
Andrejucad:

You should not copy these parts into the ArchiCAD Library, as they will be deleted if the ArchiCAD Library is updated. You should use the Library Manager to add theses additional libraries to your project.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.
I have archicad 13 and house plan made in archicad 7. I installed archicad 9, saved as 8.1 that old pln, then, i opened it in archicad 13. Doors, windows, furniture are missing library ( 7.0 library). One good samaritan gived a download link on archicad 7 library, i downloaded it, extracted in new folder and i don't know what to do next. How to make visible symbols in archicad object library (not manually) like i choose objects in left corner ( standard clicking what do i need or like). Or how to update this library to to make dissapear green, orange dots (missing parts) at once?

sorry for porrige

P.S. i saw an LCF file in archicad folder, when i click it i can see all object folders in left corner ( visually) but in this 7.0 library ( which was extracted in new folder) i see no lcf file

Andrejucad:

For information about library management with images, go to Help > ArchiCAD Help, when your browser opens click on the "Search" tab, and input "Library Manager" in the search box, in the results list "Library Manager" will lead to detailed information. You can also search this forum.
