There are many cases of center installation using the FLOOR hinge, so I will ask.

The library has a single and a double door that swings both directions. In the USA library, they are called "Double Acting" doors as seen here.

For this library part, I haven't found a quick option for getting the door leaf centered in the frame though. Years ago, this was easy by setting frame offset parameters - all of which seem to be missing now, although I could be blind. I agree with you that center pivot is normal in almost all cases - not wall-flush as is done here. This is the default appearance:

Well, I played with the parameters some more and was able to force the leaf inwards in the wall cavity ... but at the same time the door frame reduced in size and the casing code has a bug causing it to flip into the wall opening ... a bug that existed at least 10 or more years ago, sadly. Also, the frame got thicker, without me having changed its parameters. Other various ugly things happened as you can see.

Here's what I did and what I got, but I can't say it is useful. Sorry. The "No Reveal" option that I selected should really be called "Inset".
