English units in GDL script?

<R>Im not sure if this has been talked about, i couldn't find it by searching. I just learned how to use GDL today . One of the problems i ran into is that when i want to set coordinates for lines and i use a number like 2 expecting to get 2 feet, it ends up drawing the line at 2 meters. My workspace is set up for the American system (i won't call it English because even they were smart enough to switch with the rest of the world) and my parameters read in feet and inches in the box like the should. It is only when i use numbers in the script that it uses metric.
Is there a way to change this?
Thank you.</R>

Just enter the dimensions with the feet and inch mark. So instead of 2.5 enter 2.5' or 2'-6".
