Try &lt;A href="http://www.encina.co.uk/objective.html" target="_blank"&gt;OBJECTiVE&lt;/A&gt;, an add-on for ArchiCAD. It allows you to make profiled shapes that can be twisted along their length. Referring to the attached image:&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;1. You could use the bundled &lt;I&gt;&lt;/I&gt;&lt;S&gt;&lt;I&gt;&lt;I&gt;&lt;/I&gt;&lt;/I&gt;&lt;/S&gt;Regular Profile&lt;E&gt;&lt;/E&gt; object. Set it to 4 edges, fill in the bounding dimensions, and enter an angle to twist the shape through.&lt;BR /&gt;
2. The finished shape in 3D (to the right)&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;Note that for a cube shape, GDL starts to break down a bit if you twist it through more than about 15 degrees. If you require more twisting, you can make a profiled shape with each edge divided into multiple segments with &lt;I&gt;&lt;/I&gt;&lt;S&gt;&lt;I&gt;&lt;I&gt;&lt;/I&gt;&lt;/I&gt;&lt;/S&gt;OBJECTiVE &amp;gt; Component &amp;gt; New Profile&lt;E&gt;&lt;/E&gt;. Search for "Cubes" in the library below.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Stretchy corners  by graphical hotspot (x, y, z).&lt;BR /&gt;
+ some stretchy cubes with rounded edges. Low polycount.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
