There is a "Roof Surfacer" object in the Goodies Package. It has metal roof and tile options. Only works for single-plane roofs though, so you will have to explode any multi-plane roofs into single-plane.

<R>Hi,

Can anyone recommend a plugin/library/object for 3D roof tiles?
Maybe a more manual solution where you can apply tiles to one face at a time.

I've been looking at Bramac and Cadimage Tools, but on roof tiles especially they lack a bit when it comes to tile types </R>

The BimObject site probably has some.
Some manufacturer specific solutions are provided by Eptar, made in Hungary. Worth a try. <S></S>https://www.eptar.hu/eptar_letoltes_addon.php?lang=en<E></E>.

Aside from this and only if you know Grasshopper, then you should see if you can model your tiles in Grasshopper and use the direct link to import the tiles back to your ArchiCAD model

How big are your tiles? For what reason are they needing to be modelled? If it is for 3D, can you not just use a texture with a displacement map?

There are different websites, that offer single modelled roof tiles to be used with the roof accessory, e.g. <LINK_TEXT text="https://eptar.hu/eptar_letoltes_addon.p ... =en#bramac">https://eptar.hu/eptar_letoltes_addon.php?lang=en#bramac</LINK_TEXT>
Which kind of tiles you are looking for?

Thanks guys!

I see some of the plugins is in Hungarian - what a shame the don't make a english version too 😕

What I wanted the most was a more manual solution, maybe a element you could stretch to fit each roof side, and a element for the ridge tile.
The more automatic solutions seems to have problems when roof and walls are connected.
