A good gdl training program?

<R>Hi! I'm a student and I am no expert in Archicad. But I'm getting better and better

In my assignment I need to model this Tea Trollie from Alvar Aalto:
<LINK_TEXT text="http://www.unicahome.com/p11149/artek/a ... artek.html">http://www.unicahome.com/p11149/artek/aalto-tea-trollies-by-alvar-aalto-for-artek.html</LINK_TEXT>

But I have no clue how to make objects in gdl. I've only made easy things like tables and such, but just with the tool palette, not gdl. Does anyone know a place with a easy to learn tutorial for this kind of thing?
Anyone have a tip how to make this object?

For this simple object, I would recommend starting with the GDL Cookbook. You can get a copy here: <S></S>http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/sbe/cookbook/<E></E>
In your help menu there is also the GDL Reference guide, but when you are first starting out, the cookbook is a better reference.

You can download it from:
