The Archicad Library is extremely limited. That's one reason I learned to program in GDL inside of Archicad. I've learned to make all kinds of objects. Even if you don't know GDL yet, you can still put objects roofs, slabs, beams, etc. into what you want and save them as a GDL to reuse again.

<R>Hello ..
I am pretty new to Archicad 12 , but i have managed to get the hang of it somehow , ( I think so .. )
I had just a slight doubt , regarding the object library .. I feel that the object library is limited and design has an endless creativity to explore , I believe there should be more objects .
I tried searching via google , and came to this site
www.archibase.net
I tried following the instructions , and downloaded few objects which were useful to me ... however i am stuck as the objects that are downloaded do not interpret the materials that are shown on the site ...
The whole object ( for example : A sofa ) seems to be one whole material
I have no clue what to do , and i am kind of struggling to get to any result
Plz Help
Thank
