topic Door Library Objects in Libraries & objects

<T>Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I just recently upgraded to V12. I know, I am slow to accept change. My question is this:

In my previous version, when I placed a door object in a wall, I could clearly see the door panel, door swing & jamb thickness in 2D plan view. Even with solid black walls selected. In this new version (12), when I converted all of my current files, the door panel is evident as is the swing, but the jamb is hidden. Is there a setting to have the jamb shown? I read the manual, but it is vague at best when questioning specific settings. HELP!

Thank you

This may be related to your current scale.
Check the Parameters panel of the Door Settings Dialog, under the Options group, there is the 2D Detail Level parameter that can influence this.

It is also possible to use the ArchiCAD 11 Migration Library of AC12 if you are migrating older projects to AC12. The migration library objects may work the way you are used to.
