Cabinet oddities

I have found a bit of an irregularity between the parameters of the cabinet object and what is displayed in the object.
The parameters indicate a 2 foot deep cabinet with a 1" overhang. The dimensions on the plan indicate something a bit different.
Do the hotspots of the object represent something other than the corners of the cabinet?

Archicad cabinets have the option to display "cabinet size" or "counter size". Make sure both are the same.

I understand that. Disregard the corner cabinet in the image.

the question is; when the parameters indicate a 24" deep cabinet, why do the hotspost deimension with a 3/4" difference.

I've come accross those inconsistancies as well. Some cabinet objects include the cabinet and counter overhang in their hotspot depth while others keep have the hotspot at the edge of cabinet. I can't remember if some also have separate hotspots for the cabinet depth and the overhang.
Very frustrating.
