Lindsay,
You could probably make the lib part yourself just by drawing a slab
with dimensions that were the most typical. Save the slab as a library
part. The A,B, and thickness can be controlled in the lib parts settings
dialog. Hiding the joint is a mater of adjusting the drawing order and
the interpenetration in 3D. Alternatively, I would make the lib part
for you if I knew what you wanted in detail including sending me the
AC 11 vanity you use if the banjo only option is the way you want to go.
I have AC 12 demo version so I can open it.

<T>In the image attached, is a sink/toilet configuration that I use all the time. In Canada we sometimes call it a "banjo". Is there any way that I can create this configuration as an object to use ALL the time instead of having to place a normal vanity, a toilet, space them correctly, and then add 2D lines and fill on top to get the appearance in plan that I want?

A small thing, but would help me immensely in my day to day work!</T>

Lindsay,
Do you mind if I ask a few questions about what you would ideally want ?
You say " Is there any way that I can create this configuration as an object
to use ALL the time...". What geometry variables would you need to
make it work "ALL the time". Would you need the vanity part to be as
parametric as a standard vanity ? Would you need the banjo part to have
variable width, length, and thickness ? It occurs to me that a
library part could be made that was just the banjo part including
the transition angle that could be snapped on to a standard vanity
and the joint could be masked with the banjo part. This part would look
correct in 2D and 3D. Making the banjo part would be farley easy
as long as it is as simple as it appears. What do you think ?
By the way I did not see which AC version you are using in your signature.
This would be important to know if the approach I am suggesting is used.
Your suggestions make great sense. But does this mean I need to learn GDL scripting? I don't have that skill.

I use AC 11.

Lindsay,
Thinking some more about your issue, I think Eduardo's
solution is the best. If you make a module of the vanity
and a slab with the most typical dimension as the banjo
with a cover fill to mask the toilet then you can bring
this assembly into any project, place it, and adjust the
settings for the vanity as needed and adjust the shape
of the banjo slab as needed. If you group the banjo slab
and the vanity in the module then rotation and dragging
of the assembly is easy. You only need to remember to
suspend groups when you need to edit the shape of the slab.
