Does it show up in the 3D window with materials? Do the materials map to the files surface catalogue or inline definitions?

Can you go into the objects settings and change the materials? If so, you might want to check the materials CineRender settings.

<S></S>Options => Element Attributes => Surfaces => CineRender by Maxon => [Surface Name]
