Here is what I have done and am trying to do...

I have created a custom zone stamp specific to the project. It is based off the Zone Identifier 12 and so has all of its default parameters.

Id like to edit this zone stamp so that I can have only the following choices for their display and scheduling:

Room No.
Room Name
Floor Finish
Base Finish
Walls N S E W
Ceiling Finish
Ceiling Height

- I dont want these to be generated from the model because we often model with generic materials...

- I DO want the choices for Finish materials to be DROP DOWN menus when you edit the schedule...

So when you look at Zone 200 you would look to the column titled Floor Finish and be able to drop down and choose a specific title i.e. "ceramic tile or carpet tile or whatever"

Ive tried the array value under parameters but I dont think that is the way to go?

If you want a list of possible choices for a parameter you should use the VALUES GDL command in the Parameter Script. Check the GDL Reference Guide for its syntax.
Her is an example for the VALUES command that is part of almost all object in the standard Library of AC:

VALUES "FM_Type" `Default Objects`, `Default Lamps`, `People`, `Elevators`, `Security and Escapes`, `Stairs`, `Work Spaces`, `Electric Facilities`, `Distribution Panels`, `Measuring Places`, `Lamps`, `HVAC Equipment`, `Sanitation`, `Locks`, `Built-in Wardrobes`, `Furniture`, `Ceilings`, `Floors`, `Outdoor Objects`, `Computers`, `Monitors`, `Software`, `Phones`, `Containers`, `Others`
