Ok, I did a new & reset all to get a clean ARCHICAD file. Created a new material with my previous settings.
Saved a material/surface container.icf and added this to the library in another new file. Now it works when adding a surface from my own container.icf catalog. Must be something in the previous file that conflicts with creating containers.

<T>Hi, I am testing at the moment to create material surface.icf containers. I did follow the instruction as per Graphisoft Website. Everything works fine apart from when I click ok, after choosing my surface ( new from catalog ) from my own .icf container I created.

It works fine with any Graphisoft Containers.

Anybody has come across this at all, suggestions ? I did add an image for better explanation.

Cheers Carsten</T>
