I can't set the spring point for the arch, and the door comes out REALLY funky on the elevations (you'll notice all the green indicating the selected object, which is ONLY the one door). What did I do wrong?</T>

Quite a few of the AC12 windows and doors are a joke (bugs). You might try the v11 library, could be a solution to your problem.
I've noticed LOTS of "enter-dimension-here" boxes (per pic OP) that seem to be missing throughout the v12 doors/windows. Didn't hear anyone else griping, so figured it was just me.

Don't forget you can still see and edit all the parameters in the 'Parameters' drop down tab above. The shoulder height is listed under 'options' in the INT library version.

I have look everywhere myself on a few archtop windows, I mentioned some problems with them on a previous post. But I was wondering if the INT library had the same problems on the same windows as US version. Does anyone have a link to the INT library, would love to load it and even use it in place of some of my buggy US parts.
Have you tried the free "combined" library from: ACE?
Did not have time right now to go look for what you mentioned,
but lots of great stuff there.
But as someone pointed out to me, i'ts based on 11 or older, so partial structural tool does not work with it, yet.
Thanks Bier, I have thought about trying that out recently, but the issues of 11 door and window parts not made to work with the wall skins/core etc. But it could be an answer to some immediate problem parts. I will down load it and check it out.
David-

Editing that particular parameter away from the stock size is what fubars the door.

I've tried that at the spring height and at the total height, and have edited the transom height... nothing appears to bring the arch-top transom back into reality. Editing the transom height first turns the door into an error message.

I just discovered "shoulder height" at the top of the whole parameter list, but it's still screwy (tho perhaps less so...). I've set the hole height at 10', the shoulder height at 9', and the transom height at 1', and the preview is still askew.

Jocelyn:

Glad you got it working for you.

I believe it is correct that the leaf size is controlled by the "A" (width) and "B" (height) parameters (which can appear elsewhere in the part's dialog box, as they do here under D1 Segmented Transom USA Settings > Door Size Settings > Nominal Size). These are typically in US practice the size of the door (frame not included, though there are exceptions), and are also the sizes that appear in the Info Box. When I am editing the size of the door via the Info Box, I expect the leaf size to change, not some other parameter.

My 2 cents.
