    <description>Within the GDL script Materials are referenced either by name or by ID.&lt;BR /&gt;
If there is no Material defined in your project with that exact name or ID the object is looking for, then it will not be correctly displayed.&lt;BR /&gt;
The creator of the object should have provided files with material definitions or possibility for all materials of the object to be set through parameters.</description>

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;why does archicad cannot get the  material information of the  gdl object i download from archibase . How can i add materials or use the gdl as it is. I'm not familiar with gdl script&lt;/T&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

      <description>so it is useless? I have to study gdl scripting. I thought i found treasure for the fact that it is for free. I think it is made from 3dsmax and converted to gdl. Some are made in sketchup it think. They are famous furnitures and buildings so i wanted to use it.</description>

      <description>Same thing happens to me, I want to use them but I can only have one material for the whole gdl. &lt;BR /&gt;
I also have the problem that they are making archicad too slow.</description>
