<T>I'm looking for 2D Electrical Symbols. I imagine the various plug socket, light, light switch symbols etc. with key or index table that can be inserted on the layout drawing. I couldn't find anything like this in AC11 or on the web. I see that there is a tantalising file in the libraries GDL section here that says Electrical ...but it's empty. I would appreciate any leads. Thank you</T>

Have you tried Electrigon by James Murray & Andy Thomson?

Have a look at ArchiCAD East:
http://www.archicad.ca/?p=52

Hope this helps.

Thank you, yes I have tried but I get a 'not found' error message from the site so I haven't been able to download it yet. It looks intriguing from the write up, though it might be a bit more than I needed, I'll keep trying to download it. Thanks for the response

Geckobeat,

I believe that the ACE download page has changed and now requires a login. Start from here: http://www.archicad.ca/ and then click the download option at the top of the page. This will take you to a registration page which will then lead to the download site.
