Need Marker for the new 3d Document feature in AC12

The new 3D Document feature in AC12 is pretty cool - (I've wanted to apply dims to a 3d view for a while.)

Can anyone think of a nice technique for attaching a graphic Marker in the 2d view to point to a placed 3d Document view? (since the 3d Document doesn't come with an associated Marker like section windows etc.)

The best I can think of is attaching a Detail, Section or Elevation "linked marker" on the Floor Plan and point it to the placed 3d Document drawing. BUT these markers aren't very graphically interesting and don't give a good indication of the viewing angle of the 3d Document being shown.

Any better ideas? Something like a Section marker that can break in half and show two different angles, that would indicate a "perspective" point of view.

You could probably place two section markers, both pointing to the same 3D detail, at oblique angles.

It's not perfect, but at least gets the look.

I've used a manual marker that looks a bit like an eyeball with text auto referenced to the drawing... It's clunky and a bit time consuming but works..

I was hoping that someone had figured out something better. I'm getting ready to detail a bunch of metal connector pieces and don't really even plan on making traditional plan/section views, just 3D views dimensioned and noted...

Like I said its clunky... I've seen something like this used to indicate where a photo was taken from. I'd love to find a better more graphically pleasing thing to use.... This is what I've used for a 3D document view of a part of the building. I'm thinking I'll use something more like a detail marker for the individual parts I'm working on....
