Hello :
I've found I can extract the A and B parameters using "length" and "width" from category "lamp/objects".

I hope I have not wasted anyone's time.

<T>Hello :
I have a "beam" GDL object which allows me to add a tenon to each end and adjust the x, y & z parameters and the offset up/down and left/right. I need a way to report the length of these objects. Can someone suggest how this might be done?

The alternative is to construct the beam and tenons using AC beams and then group them. However this is tedious when there are lots of different beams with a variety of tenon settings.

Remember that there are two values for the length of a timber beam. The functional length (shoulder to shoulder) and the overall length (including the tenons). Be sure that the length ("A") parameter is giving you the one you want.
