No problemo
<LIST><S>[list=]</S>
First, for getting the best results, use the code options that is supplemented in this forum to past in it the GDL code.

<LIST><S>[list=]</S>
Second, luckily your issue is quiet simple, what happened here (<S></S>as it appears to me<E></E>) you have used the automatic scripting supplied by ArchiCAD (<S></S>great for quick fixes<E></E>), but in your case the figure it have created, is for applying a non linear scaling, not stretching as you need

<LIST><S>[list=]</S>
Third, you will need to do the modifications by hand and it will imply many trials and errors and some GDL reading from the manual

<LIST><S>[list=]</S>
4th, all above "pen penAttribute_3" is to be deleted, and you will be able to stretch it using parameter A for length in the parameter window

<LIST><S>[list=]</S>
5th, line2 is for drawing 2D lines, with X1,Y1 the coordinates of the first point and X2,Y2 the coordinates of the second point

<LIST><S>[list=]</S>
6th, infront each line2 put the "!" symbole to deactivate all the lines at once

<LIST><S>[list=]</S>
7th,start deleteing the "!" symbole to activate the desired line, then by trial and error you will know which line script correspond to which line in the drawing, then subtitle the X1 or X2 with this formula 0.5*A or -0.5*A

<LIST><S>[list=]</S>
8th, after finish this process you get a 2D object the will stretch both sides of the object's coordinates without deformety
</LIST></LIST></LIST></LIST></LIST></LIST></LIST></LIST>

In short, if you want an object to be stretchable with out distortion, then you need to script the parts based on size parameters and position them in relation to each other and their size.
In other words, you will need to manually script the object.

Selecting lines/elements in plan and 'Saving As' and object is fine, but not so good when you want to adjust the elements size.
You will need to save a new object.
Rule of thumb I use here: how often will I end up changing the object? How much time does that take (changing it, saving it again etc) and how much time do I think I'll spend scripting something 'smart' / 'parametric'?

Sometimes you can get by with having a 'dumb' one off, but sometimes it's worth investing a bit of time into scripting something that can be used over and over and is flexible.
try this code

line2 0', 0', 0', 1'

& voila, now you have understood your first GDL command

That would be an example, not the solution to your object. It is the command that your object has been created with. It just says to draw a 2D line from 0x0y to 0x1'y.
Giuseppe,
That LINE2 command that Moonlight has shown you is just an example of a command in GDL scripting.
It will be of no use in your object.

You already have many line commands in your script, which have hard coded X & Y co-ordinates.
The problem with your script is that it has a MUL command that will stretch the lines based on the sizes you use for the length and width (A & B).
Everything after this MUL command will stretch proportionally.

To script this object properly, you would delete the MUL command and all LINE2 commands would refer to the A & B sizes.

For example to make a line that would stretch the length of the 'A' parameter you would use ...

LINE2 0, 0, A, 0

To make it stretch the height of the 'B' parameter ...

LINE2 0, 0, 0, B

To make it stretch both the length (A) and height (B) ....

LINE2 0, 0, A, B

To try and understand this without learning GDL will be rather difficult.
Your best be is to use existing objects that are scripted to be stretchy, or make a new special object for each size variation you need.

Or of course learn GDL, but that is a rather long process.
I've been doing it for 20 years and I am still learning new tricks.

Thank you so much, Barry
I really appreciate your suggestion, maybe now it's not a good time to start to learn "GDL", but I would like to learn some simple command.
Thank you again to Moonlight, Ling, and Edel
We have just taught you what you need to start and to solve your problem.

And you should search for "The GDL Cookbook" by David Nicholson-Cole if you want to learn GDL, you can find it free to download.
