The error message is coming from GDL. It means that there is a point in one of the scripts the GDL object where ArchiCAD expects a certain type of variable but it receives something else. For example, the command should use a numeric variable but a text variable is specified in the script.
I wonder if anyone modified those objects. You could try to unload all libraries from your fellow workers and load the ArchiCAD default libraries because this error message should not come with the default library.

<T>I keep getting these error messages and a "stop" or "continue" option when trying to access, change, load or SEE my usual library parts when I first open or change anything in an old drawing: "Incompatible types in expression at line in the Master script of Armchair 01.gsm"
( or armchair 02, 03, 04, 05... etc., etc...). This usually happens and the error is in line 2 or line 4. Some of these objects are from work and from colleague's libraries.

What the does this mean, and how do I go about fixing it so I can load the usual objects I use? What is broken and why don't the objects display in 2d OR 3d? If I do anything or even go from 2d to 3d and back again it stops and throws up all these errors. The only thing I know how to do to fix it is to go through everything and delete the objects (furniture), which is tedious and very time consuming, especially when they all used to work.

Did I delete/overwrite some macros or something they need?

Thank you!</T>
